Commencing next educational year students rising as the CBSE class X Final examination will have to study on the entire syllabus in the board exams and score 33% in both theory and internal assessment to pass. This CBSE at Tuesday announced one improved assessment arrangement for the board exams.
While December last year that CBSE declared its judgment to make board exams compulsory getting away the option school-based exams. Following upon every decision considered by the governing group of the board the double scheme of examination for Class X shall stand stopped for students appearing in class X from the academic year 2017-2018 and onwards announced a circular declared by the board.
According to the new structure, specific board examinations will take 80 marks including internal assessment will provide 20 marks. In the current format, the weight age is 60:40. These students will be examined for the complete syllabus in the theory papers. Students are presently challenged to score 23% marks in the board exams.
